James Jessiman

James provided us models of tulips that were to be made into bronze sculptures. We worked closely with him and Foundry Kowalski to produce high quality prints, at 0.08mm layer height, in castable PLA. Castable PLA can be used as replacement of the wax in investment casting, meaning the prints can be melted straight out and replaced with bronze.

Each sculpture had to be carefully considered when printing to ensure maximum detail and for best casting results.

The work was shown at NADA Miami, 2023, with The Artist Room Gallery.
