Richard wanted to make a series of sculptures that had the appearance of smoke coming from a small or dying fire. To produce the models Richard made a steel drawing in his studio which was then turned into a 3D path. We ran a smoke simulation to follow this path and solidified into a mesh. After further editing with additional details the model was printed in resin - we outsourced this to a large resin print company that could print the piece in one piece.

Richard did the incredible spray finishing and paint work.
